We want to see Multiple Sclerosis go away!

We need as many eyes on the route as possible!

We provide radio communications enhancing route safety for MS Society bicycle tours. We strongly believe that good communications creates a safer and more enjoyable event.

As a rider, your eyes can help us do a better job. To make your ride more enjoyable and to help us, we offer two frequencies.

Rider to rider 146.550 simplex. This is an unmonitored frequency for your use.

Rest stop centered communications frequency is 146.580 simplex. We use this frequency for communications between SAGs and rest stops. It is also used by some route safety team members. If you come accross an incident that needs reporting, feel free to give the nearest rest stop a call and make your report.

We would like you to register on our members page so we know that you will be out there.

Our Process

We use the standard Incident Command System that is in widespread use by government agencies.

Each rest stop communications team monitors their assigned segment of the tour. Assigned segments are overlapped to ensure communications. It is expected that one of two rest stops will hear your communication needs. See the attached diagram.

MS SCRAM is an independent group comprised of volunteers dedicated to ending multiple sclerosis. Its partnership with the National MS Society includes radio communication and volunteer support during the events in which it participates.
