We want to see Multiple Sclerosis go away!
We are a group of over 80 people that provide radio communications enhancing route safety for MS Society bicycle tours.

We strongly believe that good communications creates a safer and more enjoyable event.

Volunteers Are Needed!

Communications volunteers are needed for the fundraising bike tours for the Minnesota Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Each year there are three bicycle tours.

  • MS150 is two days in June and starts near Duluth and ends in the Twin Cities.
  • The Twin Cities Tour (previously called MS60/30) is a one day ride in May and is located in the Northeast portion of the Twin Cites Metro area.
  • MSTram is five days in July is moves to different locatons within the state each year.

For more information on these tours, visit the Minnesota Chapter website.

What is needed?

We use VHF and UHF FM voice communications plus APRS for vehicle tracking. Radio operators are needed for multiple positions. You can volunteer your time and equipment by signing up. Click on sign-up at the top of the page or here.

There are many positions available to non-licensed individuals. Make it a family event! We can team you up with a licensed ham and you may get on the air using their license. Equipment, set-up, tear-down, recruitment, education, planning, and more, are examples of the positions available.
